The work starts
before the work.

Antonio Davis has spent more than 20 years in the construction industry. He started in the field with a broom in his hand, progressed to securing steel trusses from rooftops, and eventually transitioned into preconstruction.

That path taught him that project success is often determined before construction begins. His preconstruction experience includes understanding plans and specifications, takeoffs, budgeting, scope coordination, and material planning.

For the past 13 years, Antonio has focused on mastering the preconstruction process. His work has supported project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors.

That experience led him to create Building With Blu as more than an estimating service: a preconstruction partner and extension of clients’ teams. The company supports individual projects and nationwide estimating programs, with an emphasis on doing strong work upfront so clients enter construction better prepared.
